Each Skipper will agree to
travelling in a group and be an active part of a buddy system
Each boat shall be able to
cruise at a minimum of 25 knots in good conditions
Each boat shall have an
minimum endurance of 200nm
Each boat shall have a
crewmember who holds a valid Short range VHF Certificate
Each Skipper must hold a
minimum qualification of ISA Powerboat level 2 AND have offshore experience
Each boat must hold
comprehensive insurance with third party and offshore cover
Each boat shall undergo an
RNLI Sea Safety check, three weeks before departure and be passed as fit to travel by an
RNLI Sea Safety Adviser
Each boat undertakes to raise
in Sponsorship a minimum of €1500.00
Each boat owner/Skipper
accepts full responsibility for their boat and crew during the event which is only
facilitated by the Rib Run committee
